Venture Middle East ("VME") is a Christian, non-profit, relief-and-development organization. Founder and president, Leonard Rodgers’ Christian vision is at the heart of VME. Its mission is to share the love of Jesus by responding to the practical realities and needs of people in the Arab World. To raise awareness and support for those in the Middle East who need help, are under-represented, and are suffering from poverty and discrimination, VME is building bridges around the world between individuals, families, churches, non-governmental agencies, and governments. With field offices in Cyprus and project offices in other Middle East countries, Venture Middle East assists over 50 Middle Eastern partners design and implement their own projects and with emergency relief, small business creation, and people development. VME provides low profile, effective services in an area of the world that requires a discernment and compassion to meet the genuine needs of people. This organization is a nonprofit. Contributions to it are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. It is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Founded by Leonard Rodgers in 1986 in the Middle East, Venture Middle East ("VME") supplies humanitarian relief and development to people and countries in the Middle East. Having strategic partnerships with over 50 agencies from Europe and North America and 26 groups in the Middle East, Venture Middle East has cultivated Christian witness and ministered in Jordan, Egypt, Israel, and the West Bank. VME’s major projects include relief efforts in Lebanon during the last years of its 18 year civil war, medical relief during the Gulf War to Kurdish refugees in Iraq, and rebuilding clinics, schools, and oil wells in Northern Iraq.
