Mission Statement [ Back to top ]

Outreach uses the following to express its purpose:

To participate in projects that advance the Gospel of Christ's Kingdom through the production and distribution of the Holy Bible and Christ-centered literature;
To help churches understand their role in world missions; developing missions programs that would involve the local church through prayer and financial support;
To facilitate the church in its mission of compassion and good works, alleviating human suffering, hunger and poverty;
To strive to enable socioeconomically disadvantaged communities of Believers to achieve, insofar a possible, community self-reliance through the implementation of carefully planned development programs.
To work in partnership with churches of the Third-world, educating and motivating its leaders for ministries in evangelism and church planting; providing resources necessary to accomplish this task.

Program Accomplishments [ Back to top ]

As of the start of the year 2000, Outreach was engaged in about thirty-seven separate projects in over twenty-countries of the world.

Statement of Faith [ Back to top ]

Outreach expresses its statement of faith as follows:

I. WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and are without error as originally written, and that they are the authoritative Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and practice for the Christian.

II. WE BELIEVE in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we believe that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

III. WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless, perfect life; His vicarious and substitutionary death through the shedding of His blood on the Cross of Calvary; His bodily resurrection for our justification; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; His present ministry as High Priest and Advocate; and His personal, and imminent return, "Our Blessed Hope", and we believe that all things shall finally be subjectedto God through Him.

IV. WE BELIEVE that man was created by and for God; that by disobeying God, he became a sinner and thereby incurred spiritual death which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all the human race are born in sin and are sinners by nature and practice.

V. WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.

VI. WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the Christian.

VII. WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment, of the lost.

VIII. WE BELIEVE that the Church is an elect company of believers and that it is the body of Christ having been formed by the work of the Holy Spirit of all those who trust Christ as their Savior.

IX. WE BELIEVE, in view of Christ's last command, known as The Great Commission, and the lost condition of all those who fail to accept the Gospel, that it is our Mission to preach the Gospel to the whole world.
