GR works with its partners, called the Global Recordings Network(GRN) - similar, independent organizations based in over 20 other countries. Gospel Recordings, and its GRN partners worldwide, use modern technology to spread the God's Good News. The main goal is to provide the Gospel to those who can only be reached by the human voice, because they do not read. GRN produces handwind tape and record players, used where AC current and batteries are not accessible. Picture sets are available to teach Bible stories are accompanied by cassettes in many languages. GR sends materials at no charge to those doing evangelism, encouraging users to copy our cassettes themselves, so we can reach more peoples and areas.
GR provides an easy and practical way to communicate the Gospel and overcome language barriers. The culturally adapted recordings are used in many situations to initiate the process which leads many to faith and fellowship with Jesus Christ. Over 5000 languages and dialects have been recorded, and more are being added regularly.

GR has produced audio evangelism recordings in over 5000 languages and has sent over 43,500 recordings to 98 countries, in 1935 languages, from the U.S. base alone. Has recorded in 99 "new languages" and taped new additional material in many more. GR has

Statement of Faith [ Back to top ]
Gospel Recordings' uses the following to express its Statement of Faith:
We hold to and teach the Scriptural doctrines of the Christian faith: Belief in the whole Bible as the inspired Word of God; God existing as a Trinity; the Deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His death for the sins of man and His bodily resurrection; the lost condition of all men without Christ, the only Way of personal redemption; the necessity of the new birth; the bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth and the urgency of the commandment to the Church to preach the Gospel to every person.
Gospel Recordings (GR) was founded in 1938 by Joy Ridderhof and has been making audio recordings that tell of God's plan of salvation ever since. We praise God because over the last 60 years, millions of records and cassettes have been sent all over the world. GR works with its partners, called the Global Recordings Network(GRN) - similar, independent organizations based in over 20 other countries. GR has produced audio evangelism recordings in over 5000 languages. This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
