Purpose [ Back to top ]

Faith Studies International ("FSI") is an interdenominational, not-for-profit ministry dedicated to presenting evidence for the Christian faith through FaithSearch and supplementary events. Its resources include outreach and training events, media tools, and discipleship programs. FSI works in cooperation with churches of many denominations and with parachurch ministries.

FaithSearch is for everyone who wonders why they should believe... and for those who wonder why they do.

In a stimulating and inspiring presentation, FaithSearch offers a sound case for faith that satisfies inquiring minds. Stimulating and inspiring, with simplicity and intellectual integrity, this study analyzes five key questions:

  • Why am I here?
  • Can I believe the Bible?
  • Is Jesus really God?
  • Can faith be reasonable?
  • How can I know God?

This cutting edge presentation of the Christian faith impacts thousands of lives each year, with over 7,000 commitments to Jesus Christ in 2000.

Statement of Faith [ Back to top ]

Faith Studies International uses the following to express its Statement of Faith:

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. 2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. 3. We believe in the deity and humanity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory. 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. 5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. 6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class differences.

Ministry Statement or Response [ Back to top ]

This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
