Summary
Every Home for Christ (legally, World Literature Crusade doing business as Every Home for Christ) exists to serve the Church to reach every home on earth with the Gospel. The global Every Home for Christ (EHC) ministry operates under three unalterable convictions: 1) The Great Commission must be taken literally; 2) Without unity, finishing the task of world evangelization is impossible; 3) Prayer, alone, will remove every obstacle that stands in the way of fulfilling the Great Commission.
Every Home for Christ currently has an active presence in 93 nations of the world (a total of 107 individual offices), mobilizing and training indigenous believers to systematically present a printed or repeatable gospel message home by home, making face to face evangelism encounters and adding new believers as functioning members of the Body of Christ through ongoing discipleship and training.
In order to accomplish its global vision and mission of reaching every home in every nation of the world with the Gospel, EHC’s ministry includes: the training indigenous believers; home-to-home evangelism outreaches in each nation where we have an active presence; in-depth follow-up of those who respond; discipleship of new believers through an extensive Bible correspondence course; church planting in areas where there are no local churches to integrate new believers (we call these Christ Groups and have planted more than 138,000 throughout the world); the mobilization, training and equipping of volunteers; mobile training centers for use in mass-group discipleship; Schools of Prayer, and, The Watchman Training Center and Prayer Wall.
Every Home for Christ is a non-profit organization. All contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. EHC is a charter member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Every Home for Christ exists to serve, mobilize and train the Church to actively pray for and participate in the systematic personal presentation of a printed or repeatable gospel message to every home on earthadding new believers as functioning members of the Body of Christ.
EHC does not send missionaries, but instead partners with indigenous believers within a nation to strategize, plan, mobilize and train local volunteers to carry out home-to-home evangelism outreaches and to provide follow-up for those who respond to the Gospel. Whenever possible, EHC works in cooperation with local churches and fellow believers in each nation to establish a national board of directors, composed of respected local leaders to oversee the national EHC program and to provide a legal covering as required by each nation. For the purpose of EHC’s ministry, we have divided the globe into the following regions: Anglo-Africa (English-speaking nations), Asia-Pacific, Europe, C.I.S., French Africa (French-speaking nations),
India, Latin America, Middle East, North America and South Asia Rim. The list of nations currently being served by EHC workers and volunteers can be found at EHC’s websitewww.ehc.org.
Great care is given to preserve and multiply the harvest by partnering new believers with the existing local church. Where there is no local body (as in remote areas of the world) EHC plants churches (which are called Christ Groups). These Christ Groups range in size from a small handful of believers to several hundred. Each person who responds to the gospel message is followed-up with a personal response and enrolled in a four-part Bible correspondence course. EHC then works to identify leaders among new believers to train and equip, providing in-depth Bible training in local dialects to emerging church leaders.
Prayer is a key aspect of EHC’s global ministry; it is through prayer that God removes obstacles and opens eyes, doors, hearts and minds to the Gospel. Schools of Prayer are taught by Dick Eastman in The Watchman Training Center in Colorado Springs, on a monthly basis to provide practical prayer instruction and training. The Change the World School of Prayer is an 8-hour prayer training series that has equipped over one million Christians in 120 nations and is available on DVD for individuals or groups who desire this in-depth training. These DVDs are made available in various formats to many places throughout the world. Each week EHC also engages supporters to pray for workers around the world by sending prayer requests and updates through several modes of communication, including EHC’s website, Prayer Wall email, and the printed Daily Prayer Watch that is accompanied with EHC’s newsletter, Evangelism Praise.
Every Home for Christ uses the following to communicate its mission:
Every Home for Christ exists to serve the Body of Christ in equipping and mobilizing believers everywhere to actively participate in taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every home in the whole world, adding new believers as reproducing members of the Church to see the literal fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Statement of Faith [ Back to top ]
Every Home for Christ’s theology and doctrine are reflected in the following statement of faith:
1.
WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2.
WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3.
WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4.
WE BELIEVE that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
6.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they who are saved unto the resurrection of life and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
In 1946, a young Canadian pastor by the name of Jack McAlister encouraged his radio audience to help provide gospel literature to missionaries through his ministry, Tract Club of the Air. By 1952, to further coordinate the placement of millions of gospel booklets in bulk in nations around the world, he founded an expanded version of his ministry and called it World Literature Crusadeknown today as Every Home for Christ. No real systematic distribution strategy began until 1953, when he went to
Japan with a fellow visionary. One day, they went to a Tokyo train station. For every person they reached out to with a printed gospel message, ten slipped by them. That night they prayed desperately over maps of Tokyo and all of Japan asking, “How can we reach everybody and have a measureable sense of what has been accomplished?” The vision was given to them: Take the Gospel to every home. Take a map and divide the city of Tokyo in a strategic way. Find people willing to go into every area, to every home.
God planted a similar vision in the heart of Dick Eastman in 1966 following a five-week home-to-home outreach in Central Americaa decade before he joined Every Home for Christ and 20 years before being appointed as EHC’s International President. “Someone should do this all over the world; mapping out every nation, taking the Gospel to every home, and implementing a mechanism to follow-up each person.” His ministry since has reinforced this vision with the added conviction that prayer is key to removing every obstacle that stands in the way of the completion of the Great Commission.
Since 1953*, home by home, Every Home for Christ teams have systematically and strategically taken over two billion, 900 million gospel messages to over one billion, 281 million homes worldwide. The fruit has been extraordinary. Every Home outreaches have now been conducted in 205 nations around the world. Over 75 million decisions and responses for Christ have reached EHC offices, and more than 81 million discipleship courses have been sent out. Whenever possible, new believers begin attending established local churches. Where none exist, new Christ Groups are formedover 138,000 groups in the course of EHC’s history.

Every Home for Christ has communicated the following needs:
Reaching every home with a repeatable and relevant gospel message, our EHC gospel booklets and face-to-face evangelism encounters made by EHC teams ensure that Jesus’ commission is being taken seriously, literally, and with accountability. But we can’t do it alone. We weren’t meant to.
As a believerno matter who you areJesus called you to take part in the harvest. By getting involved with Every Home for Christ you can do just that.
First of all, you can commit to
PRAY faithfully for the nations to support the efforts of specific works around the globe. Your prayers are critical to EHC workers on the field for the removal of the obstacles they face each day. Time and time again, EHC field workers have told stories of God's miraculous power in reaching unreachable places and people.
You can also partner to GIVE back some of the resources God has entrusted to you. Your financial partnership can help supply indigenous workers with the physical resources they need to personally reach each home with two lasting gospel messagesone for adults and one for children. The cost to reach a family with the Gospel is amazingly small 33 cents. Or, three families for just one dollar. That covers the cost of the evangelistic literature and the team to reach each household. Imagine providing a personal presentation of the Gospel to a family overseas for just 33 cents! This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
