Christ For India (CFI) exists to fulfill Christ's Great Commission to India by training nationals as pastors and evangelists, establishing native churches, providing humanitarian aid, educating India's future leadership.
Training Pastors
The Theological College and Seminary's purpose is to produce graduates who are "servant-leaders". There are approximately 200 students under the education and spiritual discipline of this institution. Each one looking forward to the day they graduate and can be a part of Christ's great commission to "Go into the whole world and preach the gospel".
National Pastors Conference: Twice a year, CHRIST FOR INDIA sponsors, and hosts educational and inspirational conferences for thousands of pastors and delegates. International speakers and teachers are brought in to teach and encourage the national pastors who are serving in India's mission field. CHRIST FOR INDIA provides meals and lodging for these visitors who go out to the villages and share the gospel as well as preach in newly established churches.
Education
The Vocational Skills School: A High School graduate without vocational skills will often end up on the streets of India and be destitute. In our Vocational Skills School those wishing to become skilled in machine repair, plumbing, and electrical repair are trained. Also, students wishing to gain proficiency in using a computer are offered classes. If you have skills in electrical repair, plumbing, or agriculture, we welcome you to come and share your talents with these your people.
Remote Education: CFI provides village schools for the children in remote Hindu villages.
New Life Christian School: The New Life Christian School, on our campus, is very proud of the high educational standards of our curriculum. England's "Oxford Academic Curriculum" is used by us and recognized throughout the world as one of the finest. When a young person finishes the 10th grade, he then takes his state and federal government exam, which if passed, will certify the student to enter a University. For the past five years 100% of the students have passed the state exam.
Jr. College: Which consists of grades 11th and 12th now will allow our students to complete their total education on campus, thus preparing them to enter our seminary or University.
Humanitarian Aid
New Life Children's Home: India's children that are at risk are brought into the family of CHRIST FOR INDIA, INC., and given a home, an education, and full care. Dr. and Mrs. Titus assume total responsibility for these former orphans and/or destitute children until they are graduated, vocationally trained, or married. If it were not for the Children's Home, hundreds of India's children would still be living on the streets with no hope of a life free of danger, starvation, and often slavery. We have available a special inspiring children's Booklet with pictures and testimonies. We will send it to you upon request.
Retirement Home: Retired elderly women ministers, who have faithfully followed Jesus Christ on the mission field of CHRIST FOR INDIA, INC., are given total care in this home and a Christian burial at their death. While in our home, they act as prayer intercessors, and mentors to the female seminary students. The Retirement Home was built and dedicated in 1994.
Women's Vocational College: CHRIST FOR INDIA, INC., in partnership with A Woman's Voice, has built The Women's Vocational College. This facility will board under privileged women and teach them marketable skills and crafts, office machines, sewing and Bible education. Upon completion of their training, they will be able to join the workforce as well as encouraging other women in their village. While these women are learning practical skills to enter the work force they will be meeting and learning to love their dearest friend, Jesus Christ.
Legal Aid: In the Hindu country of India, the social justice system is one where the Caste System still colors the decision of the populace as well as the courts. CHRIST FOR INDIA, INC. has taken up the cause for the minority Christian population who are legally at a disadvantage in the courts of the land. We annually sponsor Christian lawyers' conferences to awaken public awareness of the persecution of Christians. CHRIST FOR INDIA'S goal is to provide legal counsel for cases involving persecution and oppression in a country known for their oppression of Christians. If you have an interest in justice and experience in law, we would welcome your participation in the lawyers' conference.
Medical Ministry: The Medical Ministry through COTR Jyothi Hospital is a humble service to humanity. It is a full General Hospital with a medical team consisting of two qualified medical doctors, six well-trained nurses, an experienced lab technician, and a pharmacist. It provides a special department for Community Health Projects, free treatments for the poor and sick of out reach areas. Fees are charged to those that can pay on a sliding scale. The hospital and the ministry established a special project which organizes free Eye Camps and Surgeries for Cataract Surgery. Nursing School: Will be training on campus in partnership with COTR Jyothi Hospital to train future nurses to work in Medical Ministry.
Medical Camps: Our doctors and nurses go out to the surounding villages for clinics in our ambulance. They provide first aid and consultation to the poor and needy. The villagers all want to see a doctor where as not all want to see a preacher, Jesus is our Healer. The hospital, includes a mobile clinic and a pharmacy.
Evangelism
Film and Media Center makes the Word available in a visually appealing way that is taken into the surounding areas and mountains.
The Moral Science Education Program is a unique program considering that India is deeply rooted in Hinduism. The program educates the person who is seeking the Lord, and wants their life to reflect the Lord's.
Printing Press: Bibles, books, and brochures help provide awareness of our mission through Christ. Currently, CHRIST FOR INDIA uses a DTP printing press to publish Christian books, tracts and magazines, and all in-house materials for the school. Supplies are needed to produce literature for reaching the lost.
Prison Ministry: Chaplains Seminarians, conduct regular worship services in city jails and visit and witness to the families of the prisoners.
Church Planting
Through CFI's Bible Translation the Word is made available in different dialects. Church Training educates the young pastor on how to serve in this important role. CFI buys and builds many church buildings throughout the region, giving people a place to worship and pray.
Christ for India uses the following to express its mission:

This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
