Statement of Faith [ Back to top ]

Asian Access subscribes to the following statement of faith:

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, who comprise the Church, which is His body.

History [ Back to top ]

The springboard for the vision of Asian Access is their Japan Church Growth Institute (JCGI). Since 1980, they have trained over 300 pastors -- comprising about 1% of the evangelical pastors in Japan. They pastor 11% of Japanese believers, and their churches represent a significant amount of the church growth nationwide. The Japan Church Growth Institute is now in the hands of Japanese leaders at every level – board, national director, deans of five regional training centers, and a faculty of thirty-two of Japan’s leading pastors. In addition to leadership development, Asian Access' focus in Japan is encouraging these leaders to plant reproducing churches.

The prototype for Asian Access was developed in Mongolia where their first two-year cycle of training was successfully completed in October 2001 with the graduation of the first class. They are now fully operational in Japan, Mongolia, Cambodia, and five other countries with select pastor/leaders and faculty.

Asian Access is resolved to develop a dynamic, organic network of 5,000 leaders in twenty countries of Asia by 2020 A.D. – leaders who will unite the church, extend the Kingdom, and transform the cultures of Asia for the glory of God.

Ministry Needs [ Back to top ]

  • Asian Access has the goal of sending 100 Church Multiplication Teams to start 1,000 new congregations, to reach 1,000,000 new believers who will in turn send 1,000 missionaries to the cities of Asia that will be home to 1,000,000,000 by the year 2020. This will require people, prayer, and money.
  • Asian Access needs teams to serve each summer in Japan. Teams are made up of 3 to 5 people for four to six weeks.
  • Asian Access also needs individuals or couples interested in mid- to long-term ministry church planting in Japan for their EnVision Tours.

An Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Public Charity should be open and transparent.

Ministry Statement or Response [ Back to top ]

This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
