Statement of Faith [ Back to top ]
GUM expresses its statement of faith as follows:
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the incarnate Word, eternally the same yesterday, today and forever.
We believe in the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His return in power and glory upon this earth.
We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, in its completeness, and in its inspiration as the authoritative Word of God.
We believe man was created in the image of God and, therefore, has invaluable worth.
We believe in the Great Commission in Matthew 28, which commands us to: "...go...and teach all nations, baptizing them, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."
On September 25, 1963, Kilari Anan Paul (K.A. Paul) was born in a small village (Chittivalsa) in Andhra Pradesh, India. His parents, Barnabas and Santhosamma, were staunch Hindus until they accepted Christ in 1966. Paul received Christ in March 1971, at age eight. He traveled with his evangelist father to hundreds of villages sharing the Gospel with many non-Christians. They faced severe persecution and opposition as his father preached the gospel. At age 19 Paul had a very special encounter with Jesus Christ that led him to enter into the full-time ministry, leaving behind his education and a successful part-time business.
In 1983, K.A. Paul was ordained at his father's church and this is the year that K.A. Paul founded Gospel to the Unreached Millions ministry in India, at the age of 20.
In 1989, Paul came to the United States.
In 1993, Paul created the U.S. nonprofit, Gospel to the Unreached Millions in Duluth, Minnesota.
In 1996, GUM opened its headquarters in Humble, Texas.
In 1999, GUM moved its headquarters to Houston, Texas.

ECFA Terminated Membership Ties with GUM
This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
